Happiness cannot be defined in one word. And it is not the same for every person. There could be someone who finds happiness in intellectual pursuits while another person may look for happiness in the spiritual realm. And some at work.
Coming to our work space (where ever that might be), growing our careers, improving self confidence, knowledge or our skills that make us perceive ourselves successful which in turn makes us happy.
The Happiness Research Institute measures happiness based on the following 6 dimensions: Togetherness, Money, Health, Freedom, Trust, Kindness.
Happiness is a state of being. Join us on 20th March each year to celebrate living well all around the world.
Welcome! I'm Soumya Rao Indurti, and I'm on a mission to redefine how we experience work, and ultimately, how we live. As a Founder and Work Happiness Researcher, my passion lies in understanding and cultivating environments where individuals can thrive, find meaning, and experience genuine joy in their professional lives. My work is driven by the belief that work should be a source of fulfilment, not depletion.
Beyond the realm of traditional work structures, I'm deeply invested in the pursuit of a richer, more expansive human experience. This involves a keen interest in curating more life experiences – seeking out novel perspectives, embracing diverse cultures, and fostering moments of genuine connection and adventure. I believe that a life well-lived is a life continually explored and expanded.
To share insights and spark contemplation, I often express these ideas through creative avenues. You'll find me delving into the world of comics, using visual storytelling to explore complex themes around work, happiness, and personal growth in an accessible and engaging way.
Additionally, I'm passionate about sharing manifestos – concise, powerful declarations designed to inspire action and guide individuals towards a more intentional and joyful existence, both in and out of the workplace. These manifestos serve as guiding principles for navigating the complexities of modern life and work.
My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to craft lives that are not only productive but also deeply satisfying and authentically joyful. Join me on this journey as we explore what it truly means to be happy at work, and happy in life.
I'm glad you're here.
With gratitude,
Soumya
